About "View with mist on Lake Constance Lindau Germany"

About the artwork

The image is minimalist in colour and subject matter. The colour is black and white with a blue tinge. The subject is a swan swimming by. It is located at the bottom left. Light wave movements can be seen in the water. The fog creates a soft and serene atmosphere. The horizon is just visible with a beacon on the right. The fact that the swan is clearly visible at the front and the beacon is less visible at the back creates depth in the image, despite the image being fairly flat. The sky is grey/white. The colour gradient of the image is from dark, below, to light, above, and is quite cool.

This image was taken during my winter holiday. On my way to Austria, I made a stop in Lindau on Lake Constance in Germany. I was hoping for a nice view across the lake to the mountains but unfortunately it was a foggy day. So no mountains but a small world with a soothing atmosphere, which gave a special feeling. When I look at this image, it feels as it was.

If you are looking for a calming print then this one is definitely recommended.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
