I took this picture on the Beekhuizerzand near Harderwijk. It is a sand drift what you see that you can find more on the Veluwe. I have chosen for this picture to run in 16:9. To take this picture I also used a polarizing filter to make the sky more visible, of course I put my camera on a tripod. Scattered throughout this sand drift are also some Scots pines. Here and there there are also patches of grass. When taking this picture I was sitting on a dune overlooking the sand drift, in the foreground you can still see the grass standing on the dune. I deliberately chose to include the dead tree in the photo as well for more depth in the photo. Because of the high vantage point I had to bend my knees to make the composition look better. When I took this picture the light was beautiful for the photo.
