About "View over Malaga | Roman theatre | skyline | travel photography"

About the artwork

This photo was taken during my city trip to Málaga, Spain, on the hill on which the Moorish fortress Alcazaba is also built. I looked out on the Roman amphitheatre built there in the first century AD but only rediscovered in the 1950s, it has now been restored to its former glory as much as possible and can be visited by all.

I was here in the month of May and I can recommend it to everyone because that is when the beautiful jacaranda trees bloom. Here you can see behind the theatre but the whole of Malaga is full of them. Thanks to the evening colours, the purple blossom comes out especially well.

Further away in the skyline, the tower of Malaga Cathedral, also called "La Manquita" can be seen. It should actually have been two towers but the church was never completed and the second tower remained unfinished.

Locations like this are great for anyone who loves travel photography, history and architecture. I love wandering around the city in the morning or at night (when the light is nice and soft) and photographing everything I see.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
