Wengen is set against the magnificent backdrop of the Jungfrau and Breithorn.
Wengen is a village in the Bernese Oberland that belongs to the municipality of Lauterbrunnen in Switzerland. The village lies at 1274 metres above sea level at the foot of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau and 400 metres above the Lauterbrunnen Valley.
The Jungfrau Railway takes you up to the summit of the Jungfrau with views of the Aletsch Glacier from the Sphinx Observatory. A cable car leads to the slopes and hiking trails of the Männlichen, from where views of the Eiger and Mönch open up. The Trümmelbach Falls are located to the south of Wengen,
