Männlichen is a 2,342 metre high peak in the Bernese Pre-Alps. The Männlichen can be reached by cable car from Wengen or Grindelwald. The cable car mountain stations are located at around 2,230 metres above sea level on a flatter ridge to the south of the summit. The actual summit can be reached from there via the "Royal Walk" in around 30 minutes. From there, you can enjoy the impressive backdrop of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. The view to the west is also spectacular: the picturesque Lauterbrunnen Valley against the backdrop of the Schilthorn, Gspaltenhorn and Tschingelhorn.
