This is one of two images of Via Quadrani Pompili in Paciano, Umbria, Italy and takes a longer perspective along the street to where it joins Via Marconi in a T-Junction. The narrow street is lined with beautiful stone walled buildings with an array of windows, shutters and wooden doors as well as a beautiful iron work balcony. Shutters are closed on one side owing to bright sunshine. There are two contrada flags flying, traditionally during festa season, many Italian towns and villages hold competitions with teams from the different contradas, or traditional groups. So the green and white flags here signify this is the area of one particular contrada.
