The bridge crosses the Grand Canal at this point with a span of 48 meters, a width of 22 meters and a clearance height of 7.50 meters. Among other things, the Rialto Bridge is one of the most famous structures in the city of Venice. The foundations of the bridge consist of 12,000 oak piles driven into the ground.
