About the artwork

Not far from St Mark's Square is the Traghetto Gondole Molo harbour with many small gondolas. In this night shot with long exposure, we look across to the island of San Giorgio Maggiore. The small island lies to the east of the larger neighbouring island Giudecca and is home to several beautiful churches and an industrial monument. From the piazzetta at the Doge's Palace, there is a beautiful view of the island's scenery, the basilica and the monastery. San Giorgio Maggiore is located in the basin of San Marco at the outlet of the Canale della Giudecca and can be reached in 5 minutes by vaporetto from San Marco. The monastery and the church on the island bear the same name. The island of San Gorgio Maggiore is 490 metres long, up to 320 metres wide and covers an area of about 10 hectares.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
