About "Venetian gondolas in lantern light"

About the artwork

This picture shows a classic scene from Venice at blue hour. In the foreground, two wooden jetties frame the scene, with two moored gondolas lying between them, their movement made visible as a gentle blur by the long exposure. The poles to which they are attached look like silent witnesses to centuries past. The wooden planks and lanterns of the footbridges also bear the marks of time and weathering.
Two shining lanterns provide warm accents of light in the cool overall picture. The sky is overcast and contributes to the slightly dramatic atmosphere - soft and calm at the same time, as if the city is holding its breath for a moment.
The silhouette of San Giorgio Maggiore, the famous church on the island of the same name, rises up in the background. Its high campanile rises strikingly into the sky. To the right of the picture is another green and gold lantern on a pole - a lovingly designed detail that almost looks like a miniature tower.
The interplay of structure, light and movement conveys a tranquil, almost melancholy atmosphere - a classic image of Venetian evening mood.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
