Tips for use

Die Kirche San Giorgio dei Greci ist eine griechisch-orthodoxe Kirche in Venedig. Sie befindet sich im Sestiere Castello an der Fondamenta dei Greci. Seit dem Jahr 1991 ist San Giorgio Sitz der Erzdiözese von Italien und Malta, die zum Ökumenischen Patriarchat von Konstantinopel gehört. Der markante Kirchturm ist wegen seiner Höhe schon von weitem sichtbar- allerdings kaum in dem Viertel, in dem die Kirche sich befindet. Enge Gassen und kleine Brücken - darunter auch der Ponte dei Greci - kennzeichnen die Nachbarschaft dieser Kirche.
