The smallest mill in the province of Utrecht stands on the Polder Buitenweg in Oud-Zuilen. After snowfall and frost, I wanted to position the red mill nicely in the white landscape. The Netherlands has many windmills, so creating a unique image is not easy. With this frozen, almost two-coloured image, of a unique specimen, I try to do just that.
I am amazed every time I go into nature, and I want to convey that with power in my photos. Not only nature itself, but also how humans have managed to integrate their heritage in it. Wonder and strength, these are my photography principles that I like.. Read more…
