Oudegracht Utrecht, Dom church from cafe Pothuis.

Photo from the series Utrecht by Night. Waiting a long time for the right moment until the Netherlands' most beautiful trees on the Oudegracht were in full leaf, the evening was ideal to capture my favourite part of Utrecht during this night walk. Starting on the Oudegracht at Ledig Erf, walking north to Domplein and ending on Pausdam.

The city is beautiful in daylight, but it is only by night that the magic of this picturesque place comes alive.
