A large, solitary tree stands firmly rooted in an open landscape. The foliage moves undulating, as if the tree is resisting and moving with the force of nature. Heavy, threatening clouds gather - deep grey and blue, with a palpable tension in the air as if a storm is about to break.
Suddenly, a beam of sunlight breaks through the cloud cover. The light hits the tree and grass around it precisely, creating a golden glow in the middle of the dark landscape. The contrasts are strong: dark versus light, turmoil versus silence, threat versus hope.
In that moment, the tree becomes a symbol of fortitude - illuminated, but not unmoved. A powerful, almost poetic image of nature, struggle and beauty all at once.
I am an image-maker with an eye for detail and a sense of atmosphere. My work is best described as minimalist and conceptual, often with subtle layers.
