Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.
Still nothing? Open this page in Chrome or Safari. AR does not work in the browser of apps such as Instagram or Facebook.

About ‘Under the Moon’ by Thea

A tranquil yet powerful landscape in which a small figure sits atop an imposing, dark mountain. The warm glow of the evening light makes the rock stand out sharply against the soft grey-green sky, whilst a large golden moon hangs directly above the mountain peak.

The immense scale of the mountain contrasted with the tiny human figure emphasises the insignificance of humankind in the face of nature. At the same time, the seated figure exudes tranquillity and contemplation. The image evokes associations with silence, meditation, seclusion and the search for perspective.

The limited colour palette and simple composition lend the work a timeless, almost symbolic quality. ‘Under the Moon’ is an atmospheric work of art about tranquillity, presence and the encounter between humankind, the landscape and infinite space.
