One of the places that fascinated me as a little boy was The Hollandse Brug (The Holland Bridge), close to what was then called the Muiderzand (and is now called Almeerder Strand).
Apart from the fact that you was considered a hero if you dared to jump of this 13 meters high bridge, when you walked under it, it was like you entered a completely other world.
When I started taking photos and was location scouting for a phtoshoot that needed a bit of a 'raw' background, I knew I had the opportunity to try and capture that feeling that I had when I was a little boy.
