USS Texas (BB 35), former US Navy battleship that served during World War I and II!
The USS Texas (BB-35) is a New York-class battleship that entered service in 1914 and was active in World War I.
In the Second World War, she served as an escort for convoys in the Atlantic Ocean and provided support for the landings in North Africa, Normandy, Iwo Jima and Okinawa.
Almost immediately after the war she was withdrawn from service and soon after became a museum ship. The ship is almost completely in the same condition as during the war,
She is the last remaining battleship of the Dreadnought type.
