With all the misery in the world, I wanted to show something pure. Two white roses. They smell lovely, they are wild climbing roses with open hearts so the insects can easily reach them to drink nectar. Nothing is hidden.

In 2000, I bought a second-hand digital camera at a Cash Converter in Belfast. It was nothing more than a little box. I wasn’t interested in photography until I could edit the photos on the computer. I was a multibeam data processor, so I picked up photo editing in no time. Since then, I’ve always taken my camera with me.
