About "Two Worlds"

About the artwork

This scene is all about unspoken contrast—between privilege and need, tradition and reality. The composition pulls you into the interaction just before it happens: a priest, mid-step, about to enter the church, and a man outside, hand outstretched. There's tension in the space between them, in the open door that separates interior calm from street-level hardship.

Visually, the framing is tight and intentional. The doorway acts like a symbolic threshold, and the steep ramp creates a subtle diagonal that draws your eye straight to the gesture. The priest’s flowing robe and precise movement give a sense of ritual, while the man’s stance is uncertain, almost hesitant. Everything is rendered in monochrome, which flattens distractions and forces attention onto form, light, and gesture.

What struck me in that moment was how naturally the narrative emerged—without posing, without setup. I saw it unfold and knew I had just seconds to press the shutter. That space between them said more than words ever could.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
