The town of Carrasqueira lies on the lagoon created by the Rio Sado runoff. In the past, fishermen themselves made all sorts of jetties and ramshackle gangways to access their boats. The result is a jumble of poles and planks, and altogether a very nice and picturesque sight. This photo was taken just after sunset using a long exposure.
