Tuscany in Italy is famous for its wine production. And that means grape vines! Here, as in neighboring Umbria, it is not just the large wine producers that have vineyards, many ordinary Italians, farmers or just people with a plot of land, plant vines and grow their own grapes to make into their homemade wine.
The vineyards are breathtaking in autumn as the leaves of the vines change from green through all shades of yellow and orange to red before they fall. It is funny because we tend to focus on the changing color of trees (fall color) but other plants are equally enchanting as you can see.
Here, the vines are a gorgeous yellow that blends in beautifully with the surroundings evocative of this time of year. This vineyard nestles in front of some mixed tree woodland and the hillside beyond can just be seen.
With this photo art image, I have set out to depict the way the vineyards blend into the countryside and the gorgeous color combinations that can be seen.
