Tulips, as far as I am concerned, the ultimate spring flowers. Powerful, colourful and pure. And even though they are not originally from the Netherlands, bulb fields in the most beautiful colours and colour combinations under such a purely Dutch cloudy sky, is still a truly Dutch calling card. But it's not yet that far. For now, we have to make do with a bunch of tulips at home in February. And that is enjoying them from the moment you buy them until the moment, as far as I'm concerned, when they are completely decaying. Because even then, tulips continue to charm. The colourful bunch of tulips used here, is already in the 'spent' stage. Still unimaginably beautiful, the petals go shiny and show more lines, they look somewhat frivolous. The technique of the photo is multiple exposure which enhances the beautiful different colours of the tulips.
