Tugboat sailing on the New Waterway The tugboat on the New Waterway in a thick downpour. The drops in the waves the crew behind the wheelhouse windows. The blocks of the Hoek van Holland pier. The abandoned helicopter platform on a grey day in the port of Rotterdam. On a grey day on the Maasvlakte, I took this photo. The landscape of the port the Nieuwe Waterweg and the open North Sea. The tug on its way to assist a seagoing vessel to enter the port of Rotterdam. Between the second Maasvlakte and Hoek van Holland, it is a bustle of activity with the large and small ocean-going vessels and tugs.
Raw and the port as it is the people who work there. I like to photograph the images I see there because it is art in itself. The harbour is another world. The landscape of the port is always changing. The ships the people the landscape it never ceases to fascinate me. Ship Viewer_Port photography raw and honest as the port itself.
