Tug VB Furie En route in the port of Rotterdam.
On a beautiful windy and sunny day walking along the harbor quay of Vlaardingen. This tug came sailing up the Scheur to a job in the port of Rotterdam.
The beautiful cloudy sky and the so in combination of the rough water with waves. The harbor has many facets and offers a beautiful landscape. The tugs the barges and the incoming or outgoing seagoing vessels.
The atmosphere exudes an autumn day with a cold and bleak wind. A beautiful sunny but cloudy sky that breathes the atmosphere of an old painting. The skipper behind the windows in the wheelhouse maneuvers the tug to the towing job in the harbor.
Raw and the harbor as it is the people who work there. The images I see there I like to photograph because it is art in itself. The harbor is another world. The landscape of the harbor is always changing. The ships the people the landscape it continues to fascinate me.
