About ‘Tribute to Joe Tilson’ by Harry Hadders Design

A tribute to Joe Tilson (1928) he is a British artist and fellow of the Royal Academy. In the 1960s he became one of the leading figures of the British Pop Art movement. Drawing on his previous experience as a carpenter and cabinetmaker, he produced wooden reliefs and constructions as well as prints and paintings. He often blurred the boundaries between two- and three-dimensional space. This work of art is inspired by his work 'Ziggurat'. A ziggurat is a temple tower from ancient Mesopotamia and Persia in the form of a terraced pyramid of successively receding storeys. Ziggurats played an important role in the cult of the many cities of ancient Mesopotamia. The most famous Ziggurat is of course the 'tower of Babel' in the Biblical book of Genesis.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
