The Sassi-Superga tramway is a steep railway line in the city of Turin (Italy), connecting the suburb of Sassi with the Basilica of Superga at an altitude of 672 m. The line was opened in 1884 and is 3.1 km long. Trains reach the top in about eighteen minutes. The line is still part of Turin's public transport system and is a popular ride for tourists.
