Honesty (Lunaria annua) is a biennial, 50-80 cm tall plant in the crucifer family. The purple or white flowers are very attractive to butterflies and bees. When the flowers finish flowering, the seeds develop. This happens in a seed pod. Later in the year, the green discs dry out a bit, turning brown. Then you see that the seed pods are made up of two 'cover membranes', with the 'medallion' inside. This is a kind of transparent membrane. The two compartments contain the seed.
I came across these decorative seed pods in a public garden. From the photos I took of these, I made an edit. And this is the creative result.
