Built in the 19th century in the town of Plounéour-Brignogan-plages, the Pontusval lighthouse serves as a relay between the lighthouses of Île Vierge and Île de Batz. Classified as a historical monument, and very picturesquely located, this has made it one of the most photographed lighthouses in Europe.
