About ‘Tower of Pisa (Italy)’ by Martijn van den Baar
The Tower of Pisa is a freestanding bell tower (a campanile) belonging to Pisa Cathedral. The tower is one of the components of the Piazza del Miracoli. Master builders were Guglielmo and Bonnanno Pisano. The 55.85-metre-high tower stands some'4 metres out of plumb.
