About the artwork

In the evening, the equestrian statue of Queen Wilhelmina watches the tour boats at the Allard Pierson museum lay to rest in the waters of the Rokin.

The Rokin is a prominent street in the heart of Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Located in the city centre, it stretches from Dam Square to Muntplein, where it flows into the Amstel River. The street is known for its diverse range of shops (including fashion boutiques, jewellers and specialty shops), cafés, restaurants and cultural attractions. The Rokin, for instance, is home to the wax museum Madame Tussauds, which features lifelike wax figures of famous personalities.

Although Rokin is not as famous for its canals as some other parts of Amsterdam, a canal does run its entire length. The canal adds to the charm of the street and contributes to the overall picturesque atmosphere. The Rokin offers a variety of dining options, from traditional Dutch eateries to international cuisine. Visitors can find cafés along the street where they can enjoy a meal or a drink while soaking up the atmosphere of the city.

The area around the Rokin has historical significance and you will find architecture reflecting different periods of Amsterdam's history.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
