About the artwork

Top of façade Kleine Vleeshal on Lange Nieuwstraat in Utrecht. The Kleine Vleeshal is a 15th-century building of the former butchers' guild in Utrecht. It was in use as a public slaughterhouse and as a sales location for meat products. At the beginning of the 15th century, the guilds in Utrecht had considerable power. At this time, the meat house of the Vleeshouwersgilde was located near the Utrecht city hall and, given their activities, it was stipulated that the members of this guild were the only ones allowed to pass through the city with long knives. On 21 August 1425, Vleeshouwers took sides in the struggle for power, went to the house of Utrecht mayor Beernt Proys on Oudegracht and murdered him in his bed. The murderers went unpunished.The photo was taken in the evening of 1 March 2014.Dark Utrecht. That's the name of my series of photos of Utrecht places after sunset. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
