Time Flies ,
Deze foto is genomen in de winter van 2014 nabij Vik op de zwarte lava stranden van IJsland.
Na uren zoeken in storm en regen hadden we deze DC3 Dakota, die in de tweede wereldoorlog hier gecrasht was, eindelijk gevonden.
De bemanning van deze Dakota heeft de vliegramp gelukkig weten te overleven.
Het vliegtuig wrak ligt er sindsdien nog net zo bij als de dag van toen.
Weer en wind hebben gedurende de jaren hun werk gedaan wat tot een bizar decor heeft geleid.
Deze Dakota heeft ook gefigureerd voor het programma "Wie is de Mol" in IJsland.
Voor deze setting had ik twee figuranten beschikbaar compleet met reis bagage.
Uiteraard ontbrak het See Buy Fly tasje van de KLM niet.
In dit bizarre decor van zwarte stranden en donkere luchten steken de twee figuranten mooi af bij dit vliegtuigwrak.
" Passengers attention... all aboard please!"
Met deze foto heb ik in 2016 deel genomen aan de C.C.C photo expo in De Cultuurfabriek in Veenendaal. Als Thema gekozen voor "If I Could Turn Back Time"

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
