At Tilcara, in the famous Quebrada de Humahuaca, the mountains reveal a fascinating natural spectacle, tinged with ochre, red and orange. This small Andean village is surrounded by impressive geological formations, created by thousands of years of erosion and tectonic movements. The palette of colours changes according to the light, offering ever-changing landscapes, particularly at sunrise or sunset. Tilcara is also an ideal base from which to explore this UNESCO World Heritage Site, where nature and indigenous culture blend harmoniously.
