The unusual roof of this station in Tilburg draws all the attention to itself.
Especially now that it has been completely cleaned you can clearly see the lines. I find it particularly beautiful every time I visit.
If you stand on the platform and can look to either side, it looks just like the wings of a bird. I tried to get that in the picture too but unfortunately there is always a pole in front of it :-(
The building is from 1965 and by railroad architect Koen van der Gaast.
The roof structure is made of wood. The building has attracted international attention because of its design.
By the way, they are still remodeling but the front is finished.
