A trio of beautiful and curious chamois in black and white.
This photo was taken in the early morning in the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park in South Africa.
The gemsboks with their beautiful markings and ringed horns are here on a sandy plain in front of the orange dunes for which this park is famous.
What is special about these magnificent animals, as far as I am concerned, is the beautiful organic line in their bodies. The temperature at that time was well above 30 degrees Celsius.
Gemsboks are mammals that can go for quite a long time without water, which is a requirement in this semi desert. Gemsboks live in herds and are quite shy.
This black and white photo looks great in a beautiful passe-partout or on Dibond on the wall in a modern interior.
