About ‘Thick among the tall grass’ by Stories by Dymph
The Dikdik is the smallest species of deer. They come to about's knee height, are lightning fast but fortunately also very curious. Just like this little Dikdik that I photographed on a beautiful morning in Ndutu nature reserve in Tanzania. It lies on the southern side of the Serengeti.

After years of working as a copywriter, I took the plunge and started at the Fotovakschool. That was about eight years ago. I have been telling stories in words and pictures ever since. So great. My favourite subject? Life. In all its manifestations. Beautiful, loving, frisky, but sometimes also raw and poignant. It's just what serves a story best.
