Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.

About ‘The yellow house on the hill’ by pol ledent

The brushstrokes flow freely across the canvas. The Belgian artist eschews precision in favour of pure expression. Broad, dynamic strokes sculpt the landscape. The blue sky gives way to sunlight. A few buildings emerge, suggested by blocks of yellow and grey. The composition plays on stark contrasts. The deep black of the background anchors the scene and accentuates the luminosity of the pigments. The eye wanders between areas of saturated colour. Pink and green blend in a fluid movement. This approach skilfully marries figuration and abstraction. The oil paint is applied with a deliberate freedom. Each stroke conveys an immediate sensation of nature. The composition concludes with a subtle balance between areas of shadow and bursts of light.
