The 18-storey Trudotoren is 70 metres high. it is the first vertical forest in the Netherlands and houses 125 social housing units. The architect is Stefano Boeri from Milan, Italy. Milan is also home to a verrtical forest. In and around the tower, 125 trees and more than 5,200 shrubs and plants grow and flourish. This creates a green oasis up to 70 metres high.
