"The texture of a hydrangea flower on a winter bed" is an (extreme) macro photo of a piece of a hydrangea flower lying on a bed of a material with a winter look.
The colours of this piece are natural and calm: white, brown (beige and taupe) and shades of grey.
This work gives me a sense of winter / Christmas and ice cream fun. Because the cut-out is slightly different from most works, it gets something exciting.
If you zoom in on the work, you can see the detailed structure of the hydrangea leaf. You can also see the contrast between the structure of the leaf and the background.
