In this painting, shapes and colours seem to interact like voices in a musical composition. Deep black, evoking the silhouette of a guitar, occupies the centre and imposes its silent presence. A yellow line, stretched like a vibrating string, crosses the surface and suggests the thread of the melody. Around it, red, blue and purple rectangles float like fragments of emotion or notes suspended in the air. The transparencies and superimpositions create an impression of movement, as if the painting were breathing to the rhythm of an improvised chord. The viewer is invited to listen as much as to look, to be carried away by a harmony born of the contrast between geometric rigour and the fluidity of curves. It's a moment of music transformed into an image, a visual score.
