The rugged coast of Galicia is officially in Spain, but sometimes it seems like the end of the world. The dramatic cliffs, empty beaches and craggy mountain peaks give an enormous sense of space. The Bay of Biscay is known for its wild sea and this also makes it very suitable for surfing. Everything comes together in this image, the cliffs, the rough weather (see the umbrella) and surfers braving the wild sea on the otherwise empty beach.
