This painting was created in response to a photograph I took while travelling through New Zealand. This dead-end road of up to 65 km long takes you to the foot of New - Zealand's highest mountain. Mount Cook, named after the English explorer James Cook, lies in the National Park of the same name and is 3764m high. It is called 'Aoraki' by the Maori, meaning cloud piercer. I made the painting with watercolours. Real handwork in other words! The original is 30 x 40 cm, but the nice thing about a print is that you can choose any size and material you want. The painting has been photographed in such a way that the structure of the watercolour paper is still clearly visible. This has the advantage that it looks even more like a real painting, even though it is a print. Curious about what else I have painted? In my shop, I have many different types of landscapes, among others. From summer representations to winter and from abstract to more detailed artworks. They can be found in the 'landscapes and street scenes' folder. I used the following colours: blue, green, red, grey and brown.
