This photo was taken at Ruurlo Castle during a visit to an exhibition featuring the work of renowned master painter Carel Willink. It was actually quite busy with visitors at the time, but I managed to quickly capture a quiet moment of my partner looking at the exhibition guide. Sitting in the silence of the bay window, she was unaware that I was taking the picture. The frame formed by the heavy curtains and the contrast with the backlight created a quiet and serene effect that made time seem to stand still for a moment.
