About "The rare Northern Lights in Den Oever"

About the artwork

This is a rare picture by Dutch standards. It is rare to see the Northern Lights in the Netherlands, let alone so strong. In March 2023, the moment was there, a strong solar storm was predicted and the sky seemed clear. With some fellow fanatics, we drove to the north of North Holland to capture this special spectacle. We arrived at 19:00 and had to wait until 22:00 in the cold, wet mud of the mud flats. But then it went wild... With the naked eye you could see the whole sky light up, on the camera screen the intense colours appeared and you saw the beautiful columns of light dancing through the sky. This is truly unique in the Netherlands - where does this picture best come into its own? I think such a unique picture fits everywhere. From bedroom to living room, and from study to bathroom. For me, this was one of the most special moments of 2023. What an amazing, unique experience to be able to see this. I hope this picture will bring colour to many people's walls.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
