Primroses have pretty little flowers and when spring arrives, they immediately bring colour to the garden. There are Primulas with different coloured flowers (purple, white) and I really like this pink/red one with a yellow centre. In Lightroom, I loosened up the flower by applying masks and darkened the background with a reverse selection. I left the colour untouched. The sharpness was improved by using Topaz Sharpen. A nice detail is the drop that can be seen in the core, which also gives it a nice accent. The Primula is placed slightly off-centre to keep the image from looking static. I also put this flower together in a triptych with a Lily and a Helleborus. Thereby, the dark part in the left side is very functional. This triptych can also be found in my shop with work code 1138683.
