About the artwork

This exceptional oil painting in its original format of 60 x 40 cm presents a world depicted in an oblique perspective that immediately captures the viewer's attention.

The familiar elements of nature, such as plants and trees, seem to have disappeared, perhaps transformed into an unusual blue tile. The scene is surreal and enraptured and makes one think about the connection between man and nature.

Instead of a conventional cloud, the painting shows a glimpse of the cloud's interior, where a turquoise sea can be seen. Floating on this sea is a flying wooden boat whose occupants find themselves in a strange environment. The boat is equipped with cord-like, long and curved oars at the bow and stern, which enhances the surreal atmosphere.

The light in the scene seems to pile up into the yellow-orange sky, creating a mesmerising colour palette that captures the viewer's eye.

A single tree stands out against this changed world, like a sign to mankind that may have changed all the elements of nature to suit them. Square tiles replace water or earth, emphasising the idea of transformation and change.

The painting invites the viewer to think about the relationship between man and nature, about change and possible consequences. It is a poetic and surreal representation that leaves room for interpretation and thought, challenging the viewer's view of the world and our role in it.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
