The Kalogeriko bridge or Plakida bridge is a stone arched bridge located near the villages of Kipoi and Koukouli of Ioannina, in Zagori. The bridge was built in 1814 and is characterized by the presence of three almost identical arches. In the place where the Kalogeriko bridge is today, there was a wooden bridge that was built in the second half of the 18th century. It was built somewhere between 1500 and 1550, it has a length of 26 meters, an arch span of 19 meters and a height of 10 meters from the riverbed, while behind it falls an impressive waterfall of 12 meters height, which continues to a smaller one of 2 meters height. They were manufactured in 1970 so as to give a special touch to the enchanting picture.
