Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.

About ‘The morning dawns with fire on the water.’ by Alies werk

The painting is an abstract digital landscape depicting the moment just before sunrise. The composition is built up from clean, horizontal layers of colour which together form a sweeping vista.

Composition and Structure

Sky: The upper half of the canvas consists of a smooth, matt salmon-pink expanse that radiates tranquillity and vastness.

Horizon: The centre of the work forms a dynamic, brightly coloured band. Here, intense orange, fiery red and deep dark purple meet in rough, expressive brushstrokes. In the distance, a subtle turquoise edge is visible, as if the first light were breaking over the horizon.

Foreground: The lower part of the painting has a cool turquoise base reminiscent of water or a reflective landscape. The red, purple and grey tones of the horizon are reflected in this in looser, splotchy brushstrokes.

Style and Texture
The work combines clean, flat fields of colour with digital impasto textures (visible brushstrokes). The stark contrast between the cool turquoise tones in the foreground and the warm, saturated fiery hues in the centre lends the painting an energetic tension, whilst the even pink sky lends the whole composition balance and serenity.
