The Stadsmolen is a corn mill on the Molenstraat in Axel (nowadays municipality of Terneuzen). It is a round brick rack mill dating from 1750, covered with roofing leather, which replaced a wooden mill that burned down in 1747. The mill towers above its surroundings, partly because it is built on a bastion.

Now photography was one of those hobbies, but I had never put much time into it. So I took my camera with me during my walks in and around Terneuzen.
