"The Kiss", this time not by Gustav Klimt, is a picture by the German architect Peter Behrens, who was also a painter, designer and typographer and is regarded as a pioneer of modern industrial design.
While the background consists of an analogue painted and printed image that has been digitally processed, the image of Behrens has been copied into this surface and also digitally adapted. It is a woodcut from 1898, which already shows strong traits of Art Nouveau.
