Sometimes you just have to take a step back. And then you see a new perspective on the universally familiar sight of Breda Spanjaardsgat. Just as impressive as the historical buildings, is the fence that protects passers-by from a spontaneous wet suit. This spring afternoon I chose a low vantage point, right at the beginning of the fence. Together with the surrounding trees I got a nice frame for the Spanjaardsgat. Converted to black and white to emphasize the historical character.
